PRESS RELEASE: 09/05/2024 EDO LP URGES MEMBERS, SUPPORTERS To DISREGARD RUMORS ALLEGING DISSOLUTION Of EXCO Edo State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has reacted to publications trending in some online news platform, that one Comrade Ken Omusi the suspended former State Youth Leader is now the acting chairman of the party in the state. In a press statement issued by Comrade Sam Uroupa, State Publicity Secretary (SPS) and Image maker of the party and made available to newsmen alleged that, the self-acclaimed acting chairman, Comrade Ken Omusi brought thugs numbering over fifty including members of the Edo State Security Network to invade the party Secretariat in the early hours of Thursday, 9th May, 2024 at Ogbelaka Street, Benin City, Edo State capital alleging that the state exco of the party has been dissolved.
