The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo state today inaugurated its Strategic Planning Committee.


The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo state today inaugurated its Strategic Planning Committee. 

The inauguration took place Monday 6th September 2021 at the party secretariat in the office of the state Chairman, Dr Tony Aziegbemi who administered the oath.

Members of the committee are;

1.Barrister Anslem Ojezua… Chairman 

2.Chief Osaro Idah…member

3.Hon. Friday Itulah…member

4.Mrs Lindsay Sorae… member

5.Mr Nosa Iseleomon…. Member

6.Chief Hillary Otsu…. Secretary.

Terms of Reference:

1. Recommend ways to evolve into a stronger and more inclusive party.

2. Proffer ways to boost the e-registration exercise as well as the INEC CVR in Edo State.

3. Suggest and advice on political appointments. 

4. Any other ideas/business deemed fit to bring to bear on governance.

EDO2024: No retreat no surrender for POI, ahead APC primaries.

 It's not over until he wins. That is POI's promise to his people. Speaking  yesterday at the APC secretariat where the political demagogue declared his intention to contest the 2024 guber polls, the 6 footerplus insinuated emotionally that he won the last election but only God gives power and pacified him because vengeance is the Lord's.  Vituperating further,  he opined that since he staked his all the last time, to give APC a voice and a dignity; being alive, well, hale and hearty, more experienced,  more sagacious  and more focused than ever before, it's only wise and expedient that the party willingly grants his request to run again. NUJ LAGOS ELECTION WILL BE RANCOUR FREE

The chairman of Lagos State council Nuj elections committee has warned contestants in the Lagos branch of the union positions to play by the rules or be sanctioned.  Comrade Odifa Alfred stated this today at the state's council press secretariat at ikeja lagos while briefing a group of journalists seeking information regarding his  committee's readiness to conduct a hitch-free poll come November 9, 2023.
