NUJ LAGOS ELECTION WILL BE RANCOUR FREE


The chairman of Lagos State council Nuj elections committee has warned contestants in the Lagos branch of the union positions to play by the rules or be sanctioned. 
Comrade Odifa Alfred stated this today at the state's council press secretariat at ikeja lagos while briefing a group of journalists seeking information regarding his  committee's readiness to conduct a hitch-free poll come November 9, 2023.
Speaking further the eleco boss hinted that only the vice chairman's position is under contest as the other 6 positions are unopposed.

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, at the weekend, said he has no plan of defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), urging anyone who is uncomfortable with his leadership of the party to leave. The governor, who stated that the party is now fully harmonized, stressed that the constitution of the party bequeaths him with the leadership of the party in the state, a position which is not up for contest by anyone.    Obaseki said this during an expanded caucus meeting of leaders and members of the PDP in the state. “I can't leave PDP. I will not decamp from the PDP; we will always win any election.
