CAN APC STAND OBASEKI'S PDP TRICYCLE, LABOUR PARTY’S EXUBERANCE,? Part 2

APC:

Among the contestants in the party heat before the real finals are a cacophony of aspirants that I can't really decipher or reckon  with. 

But one name stands out among the  somewhat star studed 100 meters dash race to destination Osadebey Avenue come 2024.

Various parameters are considered when it comes to choosing a flag bearer of a political party. 

Blemish is one cancerworm to be avoided for obvious reasons.  The aspirant who must emerge as candidates must be without blemish and must not be having jet lag from previous flights. This is where Agbonayinma Johnson comes readily to the fore.

Does anybody has anything against Johnson, the emphatic answer is capital NO.

In short Agbonayinma looks like a man who saw tomorrow. He lived his political life honourably representing his constituents at the national assembly  like never before, as if that was the only life he would live. He moved motions, pursued its implementation,  achieved constituency projects to the satisfaction of the people. He contributed to debates at the floor of the house. A no nonsense politician who would never settle for a kettle of rotten fish. An egalitarian man of the people who has always advanced the interest of Edo state at all times.

Till tomorrow, the skill acquisition centres built in both ikpoba okha  and egor local government areas when he represented them are still speaking.

Agbonayinma is widely traveled.  In short he was in the US doing his legitimate work when patriotism  called during the count down to Oshiomhole's primaries and campaigns for edo state governorship seat.

He is one of those who stabilized the former Labour president who was more or less a stranger in his home state having been living in kaduna almost all his life.

Agbonayinma Johnson provided Oshiomhole with the necessary psychological wherewithal when the house led by opposition Hon Barr Garuba as speaker of edo state house of assembly stood against his smooth take off.

Nothing dey happen, he told the " "very huge" Oshiomhole. "Take your time to study what to do and how to do very solid impactful work for the people and you will be glad you did, he tasked the then governor. 

Recall that for close to a whole year Oshiomhole was not able to do anything because of the  uncooperative attitude of the house of assembly. 

Fast forward to the time of representing Egor and ikpoba okha. At that level the only former representative that readily come to mind is Johnson. He bestodes the twin local government areas like a collosus. He was the media delight because there was something tangible to report about Agbonayinma. He is selfless. And identifies with the sufferings of his people.  As a pointer to that  his first constituency office was situated at immediately after Maria gorretti junction along upper sakpoba road right at the height of the sufferings of upper sakpoba people christened "river Morocco" due the river like  flood that became the lot of those people "in Africa" after the flood whereas those living before the river are termed to be in Europe. Therefore, as at it is now Agbonayinma Johnson is APC'S best bet judging by Obaseki's perceived onslaught and the youthful exuberance of the billionaire infested labour party ranks. If he become APC'S candidates for the 2024 governorship election the party would be standing on solid ground.
