I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As a concerned member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in the Edo South Senatorial district, I am writing to you on behalf of our party members and supporters in Ward 7, Egor LGA, and across Edo State. It is my sincere hope that you will hear our appeal and consider the importance of unity and acceptance within our party.

Firstly, I would like to acknowledge and commend the commendable campaign and political capacity you displayed throughout the APC's gubernatorial primary election. Your dedication and commitment to our party's principles and ideology have not gone unnoticed. However, as you are aware, the majority of our party members have spoken in favor of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the party's flag bearer.

In the spirit of good sportsmanship and the overall interest of our great party, I humbly implore you to accept the party's decision and embrace Senator Okpebholo as our candidate. The APC prides itself on being a family, and intra-party contests should be treated as such. Let us not allow this momentary difference to divide us or hinder our collective progress towards a better Edo State.

I firmly believe that you, Rt Hon Dennis Osagbemworue Idahosa, have an exceptional political potential and a promising future within our party. It is crucial for you to acknowledge your role as a young leader and set an example for others by demonstrating the true essence of unity and solidarity. By accepting the party's decision, you will not only showcase your maturity but also inspire others to do the same.

EDO2024: No retreat no surrender for POI, ahead APC primaries.

NUJ LAGOS ELECTION WILL BE RANCOUR FREE

The chairman of Lagos State council Nuj elections committee has warned contestants in the Lagos branch of the union positions to play by the rules or be sanctioned.  Comrade Odifa Alfred stated this today at the state's council press secretariat at ikeja lagos while briefing a group of journalists seeking information regarding his  committee's readiness to conduct a hitch-free poll come November 9, 2023.
